Collections

A collection is one governed domain table: its model, the write contract beside it, pipelines for multi-step operations, and integrations for external systems — one unit of data and the behavior around it.

Automations

Automations handle scheduled or event-driven background work such as reminders, reconciliation, compliance checks, and processing that should not hold up an operator.

Remote functions

Remote functions expose typed request and response operations to tenant apps. They run inside Bolt with the same request scope, policies, and collection facilities as the rest of the workspace.
